Deconstruction and Trust
Apr 08, 2022Well, it feels as if everything has adequately come apart at the seams. Is there any part of your life that remains untouched by the shifting sands of these times? And now that the deconstruction is done, we can take a moment to breathe before attempting to put reconstruct.
This month is a time for breakdown – in a good way. Whatever we’ve been trying to hold together that’s meant to fall apart has finally given us notice: Let it go!
So, kick off your shoes, sit back, and breathe.
Over the next few months, our biggest challenge will be to trust. Trust in Life. Trust ourselves. Trust that there is a larger outworking here even though we may not be able to see it.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t anything to do. Carry on with your life. Do what you need to do to care for yourself and your loved ones. It’s the struggle we can let go of.
If you’ve been worried about money, work, love…it may be that you’ve been trying to find solutions in an old paradigm. New possibilities are coming. Trust. New ways of resolving “lack” will emerge. Trust. Be happy. Stop worrying and listen for whisperings of something new.
Pressure from Life often nudges us toward growth, expansion and love. As I’ve said many times, we’re being asked who we want to be as individuals and as a race of people. The invasion of Ukraine is a painful yet good example of having to decide between freedom of choice and dictatorship. The whole world is being asked to weigh in.
Change is not always comfortable. In fact, it rarely is. But without it, we stagnate. This month, take the time to relax and recharge. We’ve been working hard and it’s time to rest.
